Most first-time visitors come for a free 30-minute evaluation. Here is how it works, start to finish.
A director or one of our senior teachers meets you at the front entrance. We keep the group small so nobody is left waiting or wondering where to go.
About ten minutes. We ask about your child's current school, what they are working on, what concerns you as a parent, and what you are hoping for. No sales pitch — just a real conversation.
Your child works with one of our instructors on a written diagnostic calibrated to their grade level. This is not a test they can pass or fail — it is a tool that tells us exactly where their understanding is solid and where the gaps are.
You get a written diagnostic report by email within two business days. It covers what your child does well, where they need work, and what class (if any) fits them best — including our honest recommendation if we think you should consider a different program.
Genuinely. Many families use the free evaluation as a second opinion and go back to their existing tutor or school with clearer next steps. We are here when you are ready — or not.
Every class we run happens in our Upper West Side studio, in small groups of up to six students. Here is what's offered at this location.
